Safe arrival back in Perth after our flight from Zurich via Doha in Qatar. After a long wait for our luggage (seven planes arrived around the same time creating a huge backlog), we endured the long queues for customs that snaked back and forth across the luggage claim area before we were finally released to a warm family welcome and whisked home for a meal and the opportunity to catch-up on the latest events in Perth.
The short, cool and wet days of Perth winter marked a clear end to our European summer adventures for this year and now a period of contemplation to absorb the experiences of the last few months is appropriate. After that it will be time to plan for our next excursion. We have a few ideas!
